Katherine Heigl is a mother of three with husband Josh Kelley, adopted daughters Naleigh and Adalaide, and biological son Joshua.

When Heigl adopted Naleigh in 2009 when she was 10 months old, she was still starring in « Grey’s Anatomy. »

Due to the show’s harrowing production schedule, she typically left home early in the morning and came home late at night, and was unable to spend as much time with her baby girl as she had hoped.

« I’ve never seen this baby, » Heigl said during a recent appearance on « The View, » as reported by Page 6.

« I was at work with three triplets who played my goddaughter, and I spent more time with them than with my new daughter, » she explained.

As a result, Heigl feared that he would not be able to forge a bond with his daughter.

« I was always scared that I missed that opportunity to really bond with her and that she didn’t like me — at that time, » she admitted.
