Kate Mara pregnant, expecting second baby with Jamie Bell

Kate Mara and Jamie Bell are expecting their second child together.

The actress revealed the exciting news that she was pregnant via Instagram on Sunday.

« There are three of us in this photo, » Mara, 39, captioned a paparazzi photo of her and her husband, 36, on the road.

Within minutes, their famous friends took to the comments section to congratulate them and send them their best wishes.

« The cats come out of the bag, » famous fashion designer Johnny Wujek wrote. “Johnny has become a fairy godfather again. I can not wait. Congratulations my loves.

Jenna Dewan gushed, « Awwww congratulations loves!!!!😍😍😍 », while Octavia Spencer wrote, « Congratulations!!! »

Mara and Bell met on the set of « Fantastic Four » in 2014 and sparked romance rumors after they were spotted together at the 2015 Met Gala. They got engaged in early 2017 and married in Los Angeles in July of the same year.

The duo welcomed their first child together, a baby girl, in May 2019, but have yet to reveal her name publicly. Shortly after, Mara revealed on Dr. Berlin’s « Informed Pregnancy » podcast that she suffered a miscarriage three months into her first pregnancy.

« The worst part was the wait, » she explained at the time. « It all took so long, so by the time it was all over, I mean, I was three months pregnant or something, even though I wasn’t actually pregnant. It just dragged on forever.

Before meeting his current wife, Bell was briefly married to Evan Rachel Wood from 2012 to 2014. He and the « Westworld » star share an 8-year-old son, Jack Matfin Bell.
