Ravikrishnan, 29, had attended the rally on September 27 in the hope of giving an overview of Vijay, ignoring that it would be the last day of his life.
His family and loved ones are now crying for his premature death.
“After completing his engineering lesson, he began to build his house. Just when he was heading alone, the disaster happened. No one expected something like that. Everyone is sad,” a parent of Ravikrishnan told the PTI news agency, adding that he had always been a good student and was known to help the others each time.

The parent also said that Ravikrishnan was the only family support for the family and asked for the government’s support.
“He was socially active. He went to see Vijay as someone interested in films. He was the only child. His father also died recently. There is no one to support his mother and sister now. We are asking for a government job for the sister so that the family can support each other,” he said.
Another parent described the news as incredible and said that Ravikrishnan would be difficult to forget.
“It hurts to think about it. I cannot forget his smiling face. Just when he was about to take a step forward in life, just when the wedding arrived, the tragedy. She was a very pleasant person. Never Antagonized No one, never desired for anyone,” said the parent.

Families cry the loss before the last rites
On Sunday, September 28, scenes of sorrow took place while the mourning families – mothers, fathers, sisters and brothers – were lost for their loved ones in the Karur Stampede.
For many, the overwhelming reality of their loss seemed to settle in what they were preparing for the final rites, each ritual marking the end of a life taken too early.
