He’s not here for her prayers.
Justin Bieber has lashed out at his mother weeks after she prayed for his “healing” in a social media post.
On September 24, Pattie Mallette wrote via Instagram that “we are always encouraging and praying for you, Justin.”
“I declare freedom, strength, clarity and healing upon you Justin,” she continued her touching message, which featured photos of the singer wearing a t-shirt that read “Pray for me.” “Every chain of fear, confusion, heaviness and pain – be broken in the name of Jesus. »
However, it seems the Canadian singer didn’t appreciate his mother’s pleas when he left a rather sassy comment on the post on Tuesday.
“The only thing I need healing from is my little toe that rolled after playing ping pong,” said the 31-year-old, who is very outspoken about his faith, as many of his fans laughed off the comment.
At the time of the “Nowhere but Up: The Story of Justin Bieber’s Mom” author’s post, Bieber had just announced his return to the Coachella stage with a black-and-white video shoot on the festival grounds.
He captioned the post: “See you in April.”
However, he also shared several other messages in which he asked ChatGPT to tell him “the truth about how human effort is harming humanity.”
The “Daisies” singer then captioned his conversations: “Jesus teaches that our efforts are simply an answer. To receive life and forgiveness. Jesus becomes the prize. And growth becomes something you desire because of the grace we have received.”
Last year, Bieber caused concern among fans due to his strange behavior in public, including riding a Segway in his underwear and openly consuming cannabis.
He also sparked marriage rumors with his wife, Hailey Bieber, before confirming them in his album “Swag.”
After the businesswoman told critics to “move on” and “calm down” about the rumors during her Vogue interview in May, the two have since stood together on social media.
The couple initially dated in 2015 before splitting a month later. The two, however, reconnected in 2018 and got engaged in July of the same year.
They married in a New York courthouse in September 2018 and renewed their vows six years later.
At the time of their renewals, the couple also announced that they were expecting their first child together, Jack Blues, who they welcomed in August 2024.
