Jim Irsay sees merit in removing Commanders owner Dan Snyder

It seems the « dirt » Washington Commanders owner Dan Snyder has isn’t a concern for Colts owner Jim Irsay.

“I believe there is merit in removing him as the owner of the [Commanders]“Irsay said during the NFL owners meetings on Tuesday.

Irsay said he believes there are 24 potential votes to remove Snyder, who has been amid much controversy in recent months, including a 2009 sexual assault accusation.

« I believe that’s the road we have to take, » Irsay said. « I believe it is in the best interests of the National Football League.

“You have to protect the game, you have to protect who we are. That’s not our point.

The blunt comments come a week after Snyder claimed to have « dirt » on Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones. Snyder also previously said he had enough secrets to « blow up » several other owners as well as commissioner Roger Goodell.
