Jets sign forward Zhilkin to three-year deal

WINNIPEG — The Winnipeg Jets have signed forward Danny Zhilkin to a three-year contract.
The deal has an average annual value of $913,333, Team Manitoba said in a statement Friday.
The 19-year-old, from Moscow, was selected in the third round (77th overall) in the 2022 draft.
Zhilkin has 25 points (11 goals and 14 assists) in 23 games with the Guelph Storm of the OHL this season.
Zhilkin, who represents Canada internationally, won a gold medal at the 2021 World Under-18 Championship. He had two assists in seven games at that tournament.
