Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck Get Married at Las Vegas ‘Tunnel of Love’ Drive-Thru

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck tied the knot in a late-night drive-in chapel in Las Vegas on Saturday, culminating a relationship that spanned two decades in two separate romances and graced countless tabloid covers.

Lopez announced their nuptials Sunday in her fan newsletter with the caption, « We Made It. » Lopez originally went public with her engagement in April on the same newsletter, On the J Lo.

« Love is beautiful. Love is kind. And it turns out love is patient. Twenty years of patience, » Lopez wrote in a post by Jennifer Lynn Affleck.

Lopez wrote that the couple flew to Las Vegas on Saturday, stood in line for their license with four other couples, and were married just after midnight at the Little White Chapel, a chapel that features a « tunnel of l ‘love’ driving. Lopez said a Bluetooth speaker played their brief walk down the aisle. She called it the best night of their lives.

“Stay long enough and you might find the best time of your life at a 12:30 a.m. drive-in in Las Vegas in the tunnel of love with your kids and the one you’ll spend forever with. « , Lopez said.

News of their nuptials first spread on Sunday after the Clark County Clerk’s Office in Nevada showed the couple had obtained a marriage license which was processed on Saturday. The marriage license filing showed that Lopez planned to take the name Jennifer Affleck.

Reps for Lopez and Affleck declined to comment.

Lopez, 52, and Affleck, 49, dated in the early 2000s, giving rise to the nickname « Bennifer », before rekindling their romance last year. They already played together in the years 2003 Gigli and 2004 jersey girl. Around this time, they got engaged but never married.

Affleck married Jennifer Garner in 2005, with whom he shares three children. They divorced in 2018.
