Sharing a black and white photo of the pair when they were babies, Aniston, 53, wrote: “Sweet dad… John Anthony Aniston. You were one of the most beautiful humans I have ever known.
“I am so grateful that you soared to the heavens in peace – and without pain. And 11/11 no less!
“You always had perfect timing. This number will always have an even greater meaning for me now I will love you until the end of time.

John was an actor best known for his role as Victor Kiriakis on the soap opera days of our lives – which he had been playing since 1985.
The role earned him a Daytime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series in 2017 and he received a Daytime Emmy Lifetime Achievement Award this year.

He had Jennifer with his ex-wife Nancy Dow, who died in 2016, and had a son Alexander with his second wife Sherry Rooney.
John left Nancy in 1979 after 11 years of marriage, when Jennifer was just 10.
He had a rocky relationship with Jennifer but it was reported in 2020 that she called him every day during the height of the coronavirus pandemic.
« Jen has forgiven her dad for leaving a long time ago, » a source said at the time. But their relationship has had its ups and downs.
« Jennifer hasn’t spoken to her for ages. But since the coronavirus crisis, she’s been on the phone almost every day. And not just brief conversations.
The insider added, « It’s like she realized that life is very short and she wants her relationship with John to be the best it can be. He’s thrilled they’ve reconciled.
