(WHNT) – The calendar officially returned in October, and here it means that the race for the regional championships is heating up.
It also means that for some, the end of the line is a few weeks old, while for others, the aspirations to play in December become increasingly important.
The week six is officially in the books of the Tennessee Valley and we have had a lot of big games that drop this evening.
Including one tonight in Stevenson between Madison Academy Mustangs and North Jackson’s Chiefs
This one descends into the den of the chiefs in the beautiful Stevenson.
Chiefs in attack first, transfer to Kaydn Pace. Pace tries to go out, and he does it, and he has a lot of room to run. Up to the background area and North Jackson strikes first.
Madison Academy is in attack now. Charleston Owens returns to pass. He feels pressure, breaks outside and sees a large open zyan. Lobs and Williams does the rest … Mustangs move …
Later in the journey, Owens goes back down and he has all day. This is what makes this young man special: he panics, who just seeks to find which receiver is unleashed, and this time it is Alex Crider.
The Mustangs on the goal line give Daylen Scott, and Scott arrives for the scoring.
Later in this one, Madison Academy is playing and the deep man, Haven Massengile, is dangerous. He frees himself and obtains an excellent return for the chefs.
Then, a little later, give Nick Price, and he is the main rusher for a reason. The price crosses and pays dirt.
Madison Academy wins a shooting against North Jackson 57-56.
