HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – The Huntsville Police Department says no one was injured, but several vehicles, including a Huntsville patrol car, were struck after shots were fired at a Huntsville apartment complex.
According to HPD, officers were at the Kensington Townhomes on Myrtlewood Drive around 8:51 Tuesday evening for an unrelated call when shots were fired in the area.
The department said an HPD patrol car, along with other vehicles, was struck by the gunfire, but no one was injured in the incident.
HPD said no one was in custody Tuesday evening, but they were speaking to persons of interest.
