How to Check Name in Bihar Election Commission Voter List 2025: Step by Step Guide

To check one’s name in the Bihar electoral roll for 2025, an individual can visit ElectionSearch.eci.gov.in or on the Bihar CEO website, and use their name or EPIC (Voter ID) number to check if their name is listed.

A person can also use the NVSP (National Voters’ Service Portal) mobile application to view and download the voter list on their phone. The Election Commission has published a list of voters whose names were deleted from the draft electoral roll after the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) in Bihar.

Step-by-step guide to verify your name:

Using the EPIC (Voter Identification) number

  • Go to the official sites: voters.eci.gov.in Or ElectionSearch.eci.gov.in.
  • Enter your EPIC number and security code (CAPTCHA).
  • Click the Search button.
  • If your name is on the list, the voter details will appear on the screen.

Via the NVSP portal (National Voter Services Portal)

  • Visit the NVSP website.
  • Click on “Search electoral lists”.
  • You will see two options.

a) Search by personal details: Provide your name, age or date of birth, state (choose Bihar), district and constituency.

b) Search by EPIC Number: Enter your Voter ID number.

  • After entering specific information, click Search.
  • Your booth name, serial number and EPIC will appear if your name is present in the list.

Use the mobile app

  • Download the official Election Commission app from the Play Store or App Store.
  • Open the app and provide your details to search your name in the electoral roll.

SMS verification

  • Text your EPIC number to 7738299899.
  • Note that this service may sometimes be unavailable, so using the website or app is more reliable.
