Hispanic Republicans make Democrats see red in Texas

The birds were making a huge racket. We were trying to shoot an ad campaign for Mayra Flores outside the cotton gin where her father once worked. The foreman remembered Ms. Flores when she was a teenager. She had toiled in the same fields, now filled with birds so loud our camera crew found it impossible to record. A worker retrieved a gun from his truck and fired it into the air. The birds flew out and we got the hit.
