Hemsi: 2 injured in the wreckage on the i-565

Huntsville, ala. (WHNT) – Two people were injured after a motorcycle and a car crashed Sunday evening, according to officials.

Don Webster with Hemsi told News 19 that a motorcycle and a car had shattered in the tracks in the west direction of the i-565 around 7:40 p.m.

The two people on the motorcycle were injured. The male driver is in a stable state and the female passenger is in critical condition. She was taken to the trauma services at Huntsville hospital, according to Webster.

According to the News 19 crew on the scene, the tracks in the west direction are closed and traffic comes out on Madison Boulevard.
