GTA gas prices have dropped 18 cents in the past two days

GTA drivers are experiencing more relief at the pumps on Saturday with another seven-cent drop in gas prices.

This latest drop brings the cost of filling to 186.9 cents/litre at most GTA stations after dropping 11 cents on Friday.

The last time prices were this low was in May. The lowest price this year was recorded in February, when it cost drivers 161.9 cents/litre at most GTA stations.

Experts say a lower wholesale prices as well as the gas tax reduction in Ontario, which took effect on Friday, contributed to the decline.

En-Pro predicts that the price will hold for the rest of the weekend with any changes taking place on Monday.
