A top federal prosecutor appointed by President Donald Trump presented evidence to a grand jury in Virginia on Thursday in an effort to secure a criminal indictment against New York Attorney General Letitia James, a Trump foe, MSNBC reported.
The same prosecutor, Lindsey Halligan, recently obtained a grand jury indictment against another longtime Trump antagonist, former FBI Director James Comey.
