The project relates to Package 1 of the BESS Implementation Program and will be executed at NTPC’s Mouda Super Thermal Power Station in Maharashtra. The financial bid for the project was opened on January 16, 2026, following a tender issued by NTPC.
The total contract price for the project is ₹487.78 crore. The scope of works will be executed under Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) mode, with a stipulated completion period of 15 months.

In November 2025, GR Infraprojects Ltd said it had received a fixed date of November 15, 2025 from Western Railways for a gauge conversion project in the Vadodara division of Gujarat.
The project covers 38.9 km of gauge conversion between Kosamba and Umarpada and includes earthworks, surfacing, ballast supply, minor and major bridges, station buildings, water and sewerage facilities, platforms, retaining walls, drains, track connection and works related to 30 road underbridges (RUBs). The contract excludes the supply of new rails.
The company said the works would be executed under the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) model at a contract value of ₹262.28 crore, with a completion time of 730 days from the fixed date.
Shares of GR Infraprojects Ltd ended at ₹925.40, down ₹3.30, or 0.36 per cent, on the BSE.
