The chief executive of Goldman Sachs Group Inc. and a select circle of lieutenants are taking a cut of the profits from the company’s private equity funds, according to people familiar with the plans. The benefit could be worth hundreds of millions of dollars over the next few years for these executives, the people said, multiples of their annual salary depending on how these funds operate.
