With 236 total rushing yards in two games, Barkley needs 106 more against Dallas tonight to edge Cleveland’s Nick Chubb as the NFL’s leading rushing hitter for three weeks.

FanDuel set the most/under on Barkley’s rushing total against the Cowboys at 77.5 yards.
After being named the 2018 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year with 1,307 rushing yards, 721 receiving yards and a league-high 2,028 scrimmage yards, Barkley missed three games in his second season in due to a sprained ankle.

In 2020, his season ended shortly after he started as he suffered a torn ACL in Week 2.
Last season he was again limited to 13 games due to a low ankle injury and COVID, and in the games he played he wasn’t exactly himself, rushing for only 593 yards on 162 carries and picking up 263 additional yards on 41 catches.
This season, however, the 25-year-old Bronx product appears to be getting his career back on track.
« Does it feel like I’m back, » Barkley said in August during an appearance on the « 2nd Wind Podcast, » according to The Sporting News. « I feel like I’m getting better. »
Barkley is currently third on the bet365 odds table to win the race title at +550.
Chubb tops the list at +333, while Jonathan Taylor, last year’s running king, is next at +350.
