In 2020, his season ended shortly after he started as he suffered a torn ACL in Week 2.

Last season he was again limited to 13 games due to a low ankle injury and COVID, and in the games he played he wasn’t exactly himself, rushing for only 593 yards on 162 carries and picking up 263 additional yards on 41 catches.

This season, however, the 25-year-old Bronx product appears to be getting his career back on track.

« Does it feel like I’m back, » Barkley said in August during an appearance on the « 2nd Wind Podcast, » according to The Sporting News. « I feel like I’m getting better. »

Barkley is currently third on the bet365 odds table to win the race title at +550.

Chubb tops the list at +333, while Jonathan Taylor, last year’s running king, is next at +350.
