Gatineau police are asking for the public’s help in locating Emilia Vervul, 79, who has been missing since Friday.

The woman was last seen at 6 p.m. Friday near the intersection of Eddy Street and Promenade du Portage in the Hull area. Police said she lived in the area.

Vervul is featured one about five feet three inches tall, weighing about 54 kg (120 lbs).

She has short white hair and was wearing a black and white scarf when he was last seen.

She wore a long black dress with a red coat and black sandals and traveled on foot.

Vervul only speaks Creole and can have trouble asking for help when needed.
