The Frost and striker Britta Curl-Salemme agreed on a two-year contract extension which will take place throughout the 2027-28 season.
A second-round choice in the recovery of the PWHL 2024, Curl-Salemme has collected nine goals and six assists in 28 regular season games before helping the Frost to League championship in the playoffs. She had a goal in matching with 16 seconds to play in settlement, then the winner in overtime of match 2 against Ottawa.
Curl-Salemme, 25, is from Bismarck, ND, and was a double captain and triple NCAA champion in Wisconsin, where she had 86 goals in 181 games.
She also played for the United States team in four women’s world championships and is a candidate for the 2026 American Olympic team.
“I am delighted to stay in Minnesota for the next three years,” said Curl-Salemme in a team outing. “This community and this organization feel at home, and I can’t wait to compete for another Walter Cup wearing the frost jersey in front of our big fans!”
Goalkeeper Maddie Rooney is also signed during the 2027-28 season.
