For some luxury brands, selling can be as important as selling


It is becoming more and more difficult to succeed as an independent luxury brand. Ideally, Burberry talented new designer and low pound may tempt a foreign buyer.

The British luxury brand hired a new creative director this week. Daniel Lee, who left Kering-owned fashion brand Bottega Veneta in November, starts on Monday. The London-based brand also has a new chief executive, Jonathan Akeroydand is looking for a financial director.
