Fog advisory issued for parts of central Alberta

Fog advisories were issued for parts of central Alberta on Thursday evening, with Environment and Climate Change Canada warning that « near zero visibility in fog is expected or underway. »
« Paths of fog have formed over parts of the region, » the weather agency said on its website. « The fog will persist overnight with improved visibility Friday morning. »
The advisories stated that driving in such conditions could be dangerous, especially as visibility could be « suddenly reduced to near zero ».
