Florida doctor accused of sexually assaulting multiple women under anesthesia in luxury cosmetics studio

A Florida cosmetic doctor has been accused of sexually assaulting several women while they were under anesthesia in his office on Naples’ posh 5th Avenue.

On November 22, the Naples Police Department confirmed the allegations of two women against Dr. Eric Andrew Salata – a 54-year-old doctor certified by the board of directors of Pura Vida Medical Spa, although there could be more of victims.

« Several people have contacted our detectives related to the Salata investigation, » Naples Police Department public information officer Lt. Bryan McGinn told Fox News Digital, adding that he could not confirm the information. that a third woman had come forward, according to local media. NBC2 News.

The first victim told police Salata administered « nitrous oxide to help with the sedation and pain of the procedure, » according to a press release from Naples police.

“During the procedure, as the nitrous oxide wore off, she found Dr. Salata having sex,” Naples police said.

The victim felt ‘shocked after the sedation disappeared about what had happened, contacted the police and submitted to a sexual assault examination’, which was then submitted to a laboratory for further investigation.

A second victim recounted a similar incident in which Salata allegedly assaulted her while she was sedated in her spa. Detectives collected evidence and submitted it to a lab in this case as well.

The first two victims to come forward were 51 and 73, according to a police report obtained by the Naples Daily News. The victims recalled inhaling laughing gas under Salata’s instructions to ease the pain of their respective procedures before he raped them, the outlet reported.

Now, a third victim has reportedly come forward against the doctor on file, according to NBC2 News.

McGinn told the outlet that the police department « always strongly encourages those with information to come forward. »

A third woman has also come forward against Salata, according to local reports.

Authorities found Salata at his Pura Vida spa on November 21 and arrested the 54-year-old doctor on two counts of sexual assault against a physically helpless person.

On November 22, Salata appeared in court and posted bond. His next court appearance is scheduled for December 19.

Pura Vida Medical Spa’s website and Instagram accounts have been taken down since charges were brought against Salata.
