Fireworks set off at Dua Lipa concert in Toronto

Toronto police are investigating after unexpected fireworks were set off inside Scotiabank Arena during a Dua Lipa concert on Wednesday night.
The concert started around 9 p.m. to a full house and ended around 10:30 p.m.
Police said they received reports around 11:40 p.m. that someone had set off fireworks at the end of the concert.
Videos on social media show multiple fireworks shooting out of what appears to be the back section of the venue’s floor space and into the 100’s section.
Witnesses say Dua Lipa was performing her last song of the evening when the fireworks exploded and she seemed surprised by the incident.
Three people were lightly injured and were seen by in-house medics at the scene, police said.
Investigators are currently working with arena security and reviewing surveillance footage, police said.
There is no suspicious information at this time.
Police said if a suspect is arrested he could face mischief and life-threatening charges.
It is unclear how fireworks could be introduced into the arena.
The concert was part of the pop singer’s Future Nostalgia tour across North America, Europe and Oceania.
