He already announced yesterday the reopening of primary and secondary schools on Monday. The government has obtained the green light from the National Directorate of Public Health.

College and university students will also be able to attend their face-to-face classes as of January 17.

The 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. curfew in effect since December 31 should also be lifted on Monday.

The Legault government is also considering extending the vaccine passport obligation to non-essential supermarkets.

For his press briefing, the Prime Minister will be accompanied by the Minister of Health, Christian Dubé, the Minister of Education, Jean-François Roberge, and the new interim national public health director, Dr.r Luc Boileau.
