Employee pushed to the ground as drugs, money stolen from Richmond Hill pharmacy: police – Toronto

York Regional Police said they were looking for four suspects after a pharmacy in Richmond Hill had prescription drugs and cash stolen.
Police say the robbery took place around 5:15 p.m. Saturday at a pharmacy in the Yonge Street and Grandview Avenue area.
Investigators allege four male suspects entered the pharmacy armed and demanded medication and access to the safe.
Police said one of the robbers was armed with a handgun.
They also allege an employee was pushed to the ground before the suspects stole cash and drugs.
The four then fled the area in a white car, police said.
Police are urging any witnesses or anyone with video who may have been in the area at the time to come forward.
Investigators also remind business owners “of the importance of maintaining and updating CCTV equipment. Quality images help identify suspects, can facilitate arrests and have a significant impact during legal proceedings.
