Elon Musk sells nearly $7 billion worth of Tesla stock

Elon Musk sold nearly $7 billion worth of You’re here shares in recent days, according to regulatory disclosures, just months after he said he had no plans to sell any additional shares of the company.

Mr. Musk, chief executive and largest shareholder of Tesla, sold about 7.9 million shares between Friday and Tuesday, according to the disclosures, leaving him with a 15% stake in the company.
