The days seem short and the sun is low in the sky. Most of the leaves have found their way to the ground, leaving the branches bare.

It looks like we are nearing the end of fall and it won’t be long before the snow starts to cover the ground and the pumpkin spice gives way to peppermint and shortbread.

For the foreseeable future, there is no snow forecast. Today will see a daytime high of 12°C, but the winds will likely make it a bit colder than that. Gusts of 20 km/h to 40 will kick into high gear this afternoon. Tomorrow will be almost a carbon copy of today, with a daytime high of 11 degrees.

It would probably be a good idea to collect all those leaves shortly before Jack Frost appears and you end up with a soggy mess in the spring.
