Edmonton police are asking for help in locating a sharp weapon used in the March homicide

Edmonton police are asking residents in the Saddleback Road area to check their yards for any bladed weapons that may have been used in a homicide in March.

At approximately 11:20 p.m. on March 25, the Edmonton Police Service (EPS) responded to a report of a « seriously injured » man at a bus stop along Saddleback Road. Upon arrival, officers found Adam Keane, 35, with stab wounds. Keane was taken to hospital where he later died from his injuries.
A March 31 autopsy confirmed Keane’s death was a homicide and that he died of a stab wound.
The weapon is now believed to have been dumped somewhere in the area where the stabbings took place and police are asking locals to search their yards for edged weapons.
