Early morning assault leaves 36-year-old Regina man in hospital – Regina

A 36-year-old Regina man is hospitalized after a violent assault with a weapon.

Around 4:55 a.m. Wednesday, police were dispatched to the 2200 block of 14th Avenue after an injured man was reported.

Officers found the victim seriously injured following a violent assault with a weapon.

EMS provided emergency first aid before transporting him to hospital, where he remains.

Although investigators are not able to interview the victim during this time, they are asking for information or physical evidence related to the attack.
