This year, Nsui presented a presidential post candidate after 17 years. In total, three women candidates are in the running for this position, according to News18.
Until now, the Dusu presidential post was held by Ronak Khatri of the NSUI, who led the NSUI to return after seven years since 2017, when Rocky Tased has been elected.
On September 18, Nsui allegedly allegedly manipulated during elections in different colleges such as Kironori Mal, Hansraj and Hindu. The president of the NSUI, Varun Choudhary, had alleged an interference with the electronic voting machines (EVM).
The ABVP rejected the accusations, describing them as “frustration” of the NSUI. But the group accused the current president of the Dusu, Ronak Khatri, of having entered the University of Kirori badly with foreigners and of having created a heckling.
Khatri replied by saying that the ABVP “was putting pressure on the students to vote” and allegedly alleged a “theft of votes” on the campus.
