The two main groups – National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) and Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) – have seen net exchanges between them.
NSUI accused the abvp of “voting manipulation” in the colleges of Kirori Mal, Hindu and Hansraj. The president of the NSUI, Varun Choudhary, alleged that the “RSS-BJP supported Abvp is trying to undermine the democratic spirit of the elections of” and asked for the rejection of the presidential candidate of the ABVP, Aryan Mann.

The ABVP rejected the accusations, describing them as a “frustration” on the part of the rival. The secretary of the ABVP Delhi, Sarthak Sharma, said: “The NSUI is no longer in the race for second place, but struggles for third place.”
He added that the group “blamed the EVMs as the congress after each loss”, according to PTI.

ABVP supporters also allegedly alleged that the current president of the Dusu and chief of NSUI Ronak Khatri had entered the Kirmori Mal College with foreigners.
Khatri has published a video on X (formerly Twitter), containing that “the ABVP puts pressure on the students to vote” and alleging “to vote on the campus since morning”.

Dispute of voters 35% until the afternoon
The elections experienced 35% participation until 2:30 p.m. Elections director Raj Kishore Sharma said the data received from seven colleges indicated that the trend was in accordance in previous years, reported the PTI news agency.
The survey takes place in two phases, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. for day stocks, and from 3 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. for evening classes. About 2.8 Lakh students are eligible for voting and the results will be announced on September 19.

Despite the allegations, many students described the polls as their first brush with democracy, comparing the atmosphere to larger state and national elections.
