The two main groups – National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) and Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) – have seen net exchanges between them.
NSUI accused the abvp of “voting manipulation” in the colleges of Kirori Mal, Hindu and Hansraj. The president of the NSUI, Varun Choudhary, alleged that the “RSS-BJP supported Abvp is trying to undermine the democratic spirit of the elections of” and asked for the rejection of the presidential candidate of the ABVP, Aryan Mann.

He added that the group “blamed the EVMs as the congress after each loss”, according to PTI.

Dispute of voters 35% until the afternoon
The elections experienced 35% participation until 2:30 p.m. Elections director Raj Kishore Sharma said the data received from seven colleges indicated that the trend was in accordance in previous years, reported the PTI news agency.
The survey takes place in two phases, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. for day stocks, and from 3 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. for evening classes. About 2.8 Lakh students are eligible for voting and the results will be announced on September 19.
At Miranda House College, more than 60% of its 5,000 students had already voted, marking one of the largest participants across the North campus, according to PTI.
Carnival atmosphere
Beyond the competition, the northern campus of the University of Delhi looked like a festival field. Campaign vehicles, drummers and documents such as VADA PAV coupons and reduction Bordeaux transformed the day into a celebration.
The convoys of SUVs and motorcycles crossed the polling stations, while packets of brochures and even false 500 tickets scored “Children Bank of India” were thrown into crowds, briefly encouraging the spectators thinking that they had struck gold, according to PTI.
Security has remained close to university with more than 600 police officers, 160 body cameras and deployed drones to maintain law and order.
Despite the allegations, many students described the polls as their first brush with democracy, comparing the atmosphere to larger state and national elections.
