driver arrested after crashing into house


A 29-year-old driver was apprehended Friday night by the police after crossing the fence at Parkinson Park, then finishing his race against a house in the west island of Montreal.

Law enforcement received a call at 3:40 a.m. regarding the accident. The man, who lost control of his vehicle, was arrested for impaired driving. Toxicological analyzes are in progress, specifies Jean-Pierre Brabant, public relations agent at the Service de Police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM).

The residence, located on Pierrefonds Boulevard, suffered minor damage. No victims are to be deplored, according to the SPVM.
