Dolly Parton’s sister asked fans to pray for the American country singer, who postponed a next residence in Las Vegas last week due to unpertified health problems.
The 79 -year -old country music legend has delayed the December concerts, telling fans that she needed “some procedures” to deal with the “health challenges”.
“Last night, I was standing all night to pray for my sister, Dolly,” wrote Freida Parton on Facebook. “Many of you know that it has not been the best feeling lately.
“I really believe in the power of prayer, and I was led to ask everyone who likes him to be warriors of prayer and to pray with me.”
Freida put an end to her message on an optimistic note.
“She is strong, she is loved, and with all the prayers raised for her, I know that in my heart, she will go well,” she wrote.
“At the Boyen, my Sissy cart. We all love you!”
Parton was to perform six shows at Colosseum at Caesars Palace in December.
But she postponed concerts until September next year, explaining that she would not have enough time to repeat for them.
Parton did not disclose the nature of her health problems, but she was recently forced to withdraw from a Dollywood event after having received a diagnosis of a kidney calculation which, according to her, caused “many problems”.
Earlier this year, she lost her beloved husband Carl Dean after almost 60 years of marriage.
She then dedicated a new song, if you had not been there, in her memory.
The musician is best known for a series of success of Country crossing, including Coat of Many Colors, I will always love you, 9 to 5 and Jolene.
Her visit to Las Vegas would have been her first visit to the strip since the 1990s, when she played alongside her islands in the partner of the Duet Stream, Kenny Rogers.
