Disney board backs CEO Bob Chapek as top TV executive

Walt disney the board declared its support for the chief executive Bob Chapeck after Stone Riceone of the company’s top television executives, left the company.

Disney gave no reason for Mr. Rice’s departure, but people familiar with the matter said he was fired.
