‘Dexter’ spooky profile photo paints a grim portrait of a man who owned a bus with a headless torso in it
NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – The man arrested after a missing person investigation uncovered the frozen torso of a woman previously released in photos with guns, knives and a fictional serial killer.
Benjamin Beale, also known as Kelley Kirkpatrick, was arrested after a search warrant was executed on his property.
Detectives say they followed an extension cord out of her back door leading to a padlocked bus. Inside the bus was a freezer with human remains, according to court documents.
Micah Dardar believes these remains belong to his ex-wife, Julia, who he says fell into drug addiction after meeting Beale.

In November 2021, just over a month before Dardar went missing, Beale posted a photo with a sticker of fictional serial killer Dexter Morgan on it. In the popular crime drama “Dexter,” the main character kills his victims, chops them up, puts them in trash bags, and throws them to the side of his boat.
In the first season of the series, Dexter tracks down the “Ice Truck Killer” who drains the blood of his victims before keeping their bodies in a refrigerated truck.
Other photos show Beale in a white disposable coveralls with goggles holding a gun.
“Drive the damn clear if you know what’s good,” part of the caption reads.
A year earlier, Beale had posted a photo of an alligator skinned, cleaned and cut into quarters with a large knife.
Beale is currently being held on $ 400,000 bond for obstruction of justice involving death, among gun and drug charges.
Authorities have not identified the remains found in the freezer in his backyard.
