For those who hope for an appearance at the end of the season for the Detroit Lions Terrion Arnold corner, the news does not seem good. After aggravating a shoulder injury on Sunday against the Bengals of Cincinnati, Tom Pelisero of NFL Network reports that the 2025 Arnold season is probably over.
This news comes one day after the Lions coach Dan Campbell said that the injury would keep Arnold sidelined indefinitely, without being able to say if it was the end of the season.
“He’s going to go out for a while. He’s going to go out for a long time,” said Campbell.
Arnold came out of his best match of the 2025 season, in which he only granted three catches on six targets for 28 yards while totaling two passenger deviations. Although it was called to two penalties that day, including one which has erased security for its defense.
“He was very competitive. I thought he was calm. I thought he was cool, and I thought he was one of the best games he has played for a while. I thought he was really good,” said Campbell.
The Lions will have to move on without the services of Arnold, and for at least the next three games, they will also be without DJ of Cornerback n ° 1. Reed has undergone an injury to the hamstrings against the Browns who landed it on the injured reserve. With Khalil Dorsey also dealing with an injury, which leaves lions only three healthy players on their current list of 53 men: Amik Robertson, Rock-Yy Sin and Avonte Maddox. Detroit has also picked up some players from their training team who can fill, notably Tre Flowers and Nick Whiteside.
“This train does not stop for anyone. Whatever it is or what it is, we have to go,” said Campbell concerning the team’s recent chance. “No one cares about it, no one will feel sorry for you. You put your best 22, offense, defense – and special teams, by the way – and you have to find a way to win the game. And you use the three phases to do it, and we will use the three phases to do it.”
