Democrats “want to ignite crime” in Portland and Chicago

President Donald Trump castigated Democrats in Portland, Oregon, and Chicago, Illinois on Monday, declaring that they wanted to “ignite crime” while he and his administration wanted to reduce it.

Trump, whose authorization to use troops to protect the installations of Portland and Immigration and Customs (ICE) last week, called the Democratic Jurisdictions leaders on the cities, starting with Governor JB Pritzker (I-I-E-’) and the mayor of Chicago Brandon Johnson (D), during an Oval office signature.

“I believe that Pritzker and this mayor of Chicago … They do not have it under control. Not only is it not under control, it is the opposite. And I think they are afraid. They are afraid of their lives. I believe that the people of Portland are afraid,” he said.

He also criticized the federal judge Karin Immergut, who prevented Trump from deploying the Oregon National Guard in the State. Governor Greg Abbott (R-TX) authorized Texas to send 400 of their national guard “to ensure the security of federal officials”.

“You look at what happened with Portland over the years; it is a burning Hellhole. And then, you have a judge who has lost his way which tries to claim that there is no problem,” said Trump. “In fact, she doesn’t even say that.”

“There is a huge problem in Portland. I’m going to tell you what is the problem: crime. Okay? And that’s a huge problem in Chicago. This is called crime, and we want to turn off crime, and they want to ignite crime,” he added. “And why they want it, I don’t know, but Pritzker may be afraid for his life.”

While Immergut prevented Trump from mobilizing the Oregon National Guard, an Illinois judge chose not to prevent the federal government from authorizing the use of Illinois and the Texas National Guard in Chicago, as News Nation noted. The judge, April Perry, called for in -depth judicial deposits on the issue.
