“Dancing with the stars”: Michael Bublé does not want children to follow in the footsteps of music


After Michael Bublé took over the ‘Dancing with the Stars’ ballroom, where he performed and served as a guest judge, the Grammy-winning singer revealed he doesn’t want his kids to follow in his musical footsteps .

When Fox News Digital asked Bublé if he planned for his children to follow the same career path as their father, he replied, « I hope not. »

« I hope they’re smarter than me, » Bublé joked after Monday night’s show.

« I’d like to see my kids…get into computing and maybe come up with some software. They can stay home safely, never go out, never drive or ever date…they could just be with me and really very rich. »

Bublé shares four children with his wife, Argentine actress Luisana Lopilato. The couple welcomed baby girl Cielo into their family in August and also share daughter Vida, 3, and sons Elias, 6, and Noah, 8.

The « Dancing with the Stars » contestants performed Bublé’s hit songs on the dance floor Monday.

The Canadian singer noted that he « loved every second » of his theme party on the dance competition show.

« There are such beautiful people, everyone, the team, and it was a huge honor to be included… I’ve been doing my music for 20 years for this community and being organically connected was really awesome « Bublé added.

He went on to say that TikTok star Charli D’Amelio surprised him and he wasn’t shocked by comedian Wayne Brady’s performance « because he’s good at everything ».

Brady told Fox News Digital that Bublé was a « timeless artist » and revealed how thrilled he was to host the American Music Awards.

« It means so much to me. Comedy and music go together, » Brady remarked.

The comedian also added if he plans to incorporate any celebrities into his jokes while he hosts the awards show.

« I’m not a smirk comedian…there’s no one I’m chasing. If someone gets dragged into one of my songs or a joke…that’s love, » Brady suggested.

Meanwhile, Bublé opened up about his friendship with ‘Dancing with the Stars’ alum Derek Hough as he plans to perform at his wedding.

« Boy, » Bublé laughed.
