Culture. The literary return of abundance

The stars of literature have already returned, and returned well, with their potential bestsellers: Virginie Despentes (Dear Connard, Grasset) and Amélie Nothomb (Le livre des Soeurs, Albin Michel) have unsurprisingly settled comfortably at the top of the sales, with their novels coming out in mid-August.

The two successful novelists opened a literary season that is still very busy: with 490 new releases announced in bookstores by October, a slight decline (6%) compared to 2021 (521), the time of end of abundance has not yet come.
