Crimson Desert is first IGN this month, see 11 minutes of game from New Quest

The wild and expansive adventure in open world, Crimson Desert, is at the center of the October IGN first. As is tradition, we demonstrate a month of exclusive content with a brand new gameplay video. Above, you can watch a game of the captured fortress, one of the faction quests of the Crimson desert, in which you help Duke Wells take back rebel forces.

This 11 -minute video has a number of key characteristics from Crimson Desert. First of all, of course, is the fight. Since we played for the first time at Crimson Desert in Gamescom 2024, we know that the developer Pearl Abyss has assembled something special with regard to fight, and here you can see the protagonist Kliff to use a wide range of capacities. Among our favorites, there is a pierced spear spear in an enemy and incredibly powerful and magically loaded heavy attacks.

But this demonstration mission covers more than the fight. You will also see how Kliff can explore the environment using magic, a spider swing and its capacity as a crow, which allows it to slip into the sky towards distant lenses. You will also see him use his sword to reflect light, a skill that highlights the points of interest for the world and guides you towards interesting discoveries. Following the shiny lights, Kliff is capable of infiltrating the Duke captured in a more stealthy way … and also discovering an additional loot along the way.

Of course, a showcase of the crimson desert would not be complete without a Boss battle, and therefore this video ends with a complete and violent confrontation against Fortain, the cursed knight. This bad boy dressed in Armor has a sword with a powerful and supernatural ability that you do not want to miss. You might even be able to claim it for yourself …

And remember, this video is only the first drop. Throughout the month of October, IGN First will take you on a trip to the world of the Crimson desert. You will be able to see many more bosses, regions, combat capacities and two or three new exciting things that you never guess to be part of a medieval fantastic game. For all this, stay attentive to ignore in the coming weeks.
