COVID-19: no new deaths in Quebec

Quebec added no new COVID-19-related deaths to its toll on Tuesday, but reported 792 new cases linked to the virus in the past 24 hours.

A total of 1,823 Quebecers remain hospitalized due to the virus, including 39 who are in intensive care.

The province has also identified 181 rapid tests that have tested positive for COVID-19 since the previous day.

In addition, Public Health has indicated that 3,376 health care workers are still absent from the network for reasons related to the virus, either for preventive withdrawal, isolation or awaiting a result.
