COVID-19: a new death in Quebec


Hospitalizations related to COVID-19 remain stable in the province, which has reported one new death in the past 24 hours.

In total, 1,567 Quebecers occupy a hospital bed (-1), according to the latest public health data published Monday morning.

Among them, 35 people are in intensive care, five less than the day before.

One new death has been recorded in the past 24 hours.

The province also added 617 new cases detected in screening centers to its toll, while 142 rapid self-tests with positive results were declared during the day on Sunday.

Public Health also reported that 3,345 health care workers were still absent from the network due to preventive withdrawal, isolation or awaiting results.
