Patrick Mahomes was vintage Mahomes Monday evening. And the question for Jacksonville jaguars in recent years was to know if Trevor Lawrence could one day reach this level.

He did it. After being overthrown first.

Mahomes had a clutch training to give the chiefs an advance of 28-24 with 1:45 to play. Instead, MAHOMES has the last word in a tight match, as it usually does, it was Lawrence who found the clutch to win it.

Lawrence, on the occasion of her 26th anniversary, lived one of the greatest moments in her career, leading the Jaguars to a 31-28 victory in the last minute.

The winning game looked like a disaster, when Lawrence stumbled when her guard walked on his foot and the QB fell on the ground, but he got up after having stumbled again, found a corridor and ran for a touch of 10 yards.

“It was panic, pure panic on the ground trying to (get up),” said Lawrence in Espn in an post-match interview. “We had no time dead, I was walked out. I said to myself: ‘I have to get up.’ And I was just going to throw it out of the limits to stop the stopwatch. “

Fortunately for the jaguars, he kept his feet in motion.

Jacksonville was waiting for a moment like this, with Lawrence conducting a return victory against the chiefing dynasty on Monday evening. The Jaguars have a 4-1 file in the first season of Liam Coen as a chief coach. Monday’s victory looked more like a typical victory for week 5.

The chiefs quickly take the lead

If the jaguars decided to immediately declare that their 3-1 departure was real, it did not start very well.

Jacksonville made three points to start the match. The chiefs scored first, on a hit against Travis Kelce which seemed to be an interference of offensive pass on Juju Smith-Schuster, who collided with a defender of the Jaguars. The authorities launched a flag. The commentators present on the ESPN stand thought it was a penalty. But the officials picked up the flag and judged that it was a TD, probably claiming that the contact had occurred less than a meter from the melee line. The chiefs led 7-0.

The jaguars almost equalized after that, but Trevor Lawrence stretched out the fourth goal after that of a quarter-arre which fegged over it, and the ball was torn from its hands a few centimeters before it crossed the plane. The jaguars were turned back, then the chiefs made a rapid route of 97 yards for another hit, the latter being a touchded by Mahomes.

The jaguars were the subject of a close-up on national television and were led 14-0. But they showed a certain resilience.

Jacksonville joined the painting, Lawrence delivering a nice pass of Touché to Parker Washington. It was 14-7 at halftime. At the start of the second period, Travis Hunter achieved a phenomenal capture in traffic for a gain of 44 yards and the first big highlight of his recruit season. This set up a touch of Lawrence and the match was also 14-14.

Then the Jaguars obtained a massive game on a rare turnover of Mahomas. He has never seen the second Jaguars Devin Lloyd below, near the goal line, and launched it directly. Then the situation worsened for the chiefs, while Lloyd traveled throughout the touchline for a 99 yards, choice 6. Instead that the chiefs take the lead, the jaguars led 21-14.

The jaguars gave points, Lawrence launching a deep interception in the territory of the chiefs, but Jacksonville rebounded and took a 24-21 lead on a basket of Cam Little. But there was enough time in Mahomes to answer.

Mahomes had a crazy escape during a game in which he seemed to have been dismissed, but he kept his balance and ran for a first try. The training continued to sink deep into the territory of the Jaguars after two minutes of warning. KC crowned the walk with a Kareem Hunt Td race with 2 yards, opening the way to Lawrence with 1:48 to play.
