OPENAI has launched new integrations that connect controls for other applications directly inside Chatgpt, allowing you to call them to create a reading list in Spotify or search for local real estate lists on Zillow without leaving the chatbot.
It is a bit like the “mini” applications that the messaging platforms like Telegram and Discord have integrated inside their platforms, or the extensions that provide controls for music players to the dynamic island of your iPhone, but with a touch of AI. With integrations, you can continue to speak to Chatgpt while providing instructions on how you want this to interact with an application.
Several services have already started to pilot integrated application interfaces for Chatgpt, and we have rounded them below.

The spotify chatgpt integration allows you to link your account to the AI cat-cat, and from there, you can do things like looking for a new artist album or invite it to generate a reading list with your favorite alternative rock groups. You can also ask Spotify music or podcast recommendations according to a conversation you have had with Chatgpt, and it will send a list of tracks that you can operate and listen from the Spotify application.
Spotify notes that free users can get their supplies from music from reading lists already available in the application, such as New Music Friday and Discover Weekly, while premium users can generate a “fresh and fully personalized selection of tracks”.

The canva application in Chatgpt allows you to create, preview and modify your conceptions directly from the chatbot interface. Now you can call on Canva from Chatgpt and ask for something like: “Create an Instagram publication for our next sale.” From there, Canva in Chatgpt will generate full screen design overviews that you can refine more with prompts to modify the text or adapt to a specific theme. Once you are satisfied with the design, you can get it into Canva to continue to edit.

Like the integration of chatgpt with Canva, the FIGMA application can also help make diagrams based on files you have on your computer, suggest changes to existing graphics, as well as think about different ways to view certain information. You can jump in the graphic or diagram edition with Figma by selecting the “Modify in Figma” button.

Even Zillow deploys its own chatgpt applications that draw from its real estate lists database to find properties that correspond to your preferences. Now you can ask things to pussy like: “What houses can I afford nearby?” Or say it to “show me houses with a large courtyard”, and the integration of Zillow will offer lists with photos, cards and prices.
Zillow’s Chatgpt application currently supports rentals and houses for sale by owners and real estate agents, but the company claims that it plans to add other features, such as new constructions and 3D visits, also in integration.

Chatgpt has already become a practical tool for travel planning, but you can now go further with Expedia integration that allows you to ask Chatgpt specific types of stays, such as a “hotel room in New York for less than $ 400 in November”. The Expedia application will then provide a list of hotels corresponding to this description, as well as flight options, a card of your destination and “dynamic” price and availability information.
Booking.com also launched similar chatgpt integration.

Racera is launching a chatgpt application that you can use to access videos and information from the online learning platform. You can call on Racera to teach you with information on a specific subject, but Chatgpt can also recommend the content of the site during your conversations with the AI chatbot.
There are several other applications that Openai has confirmed by Chatgpt, notably Uber, Doordash, Instacart, Opentable, Target, Peloton, Tripadvisor and Alltrails. Applications are not currently available for users of the European Union.
OPENAI will also start to allow a wider range of developers to submit their applications later this year, which will appear in a repertoire that users can browse. The company’s application design guidelines say that applications must “feel consistent, useful and trustworthy while extending Chatgpt in a manner that adds real value”, with examples that include services to reserve driving, order food, check availability or follow deliveries. He notes that developers should not use applications for long shape content, complex workflows, announcements or “unrelevant messaging”.
