Chargers receiver Jalen Guyton placed on disabled list

COSTA MESA, Calif. —The Los Angeles Charges placed receiver Jalen Guyton on the disabled list and called outside linebacker Derrek Tuszka off waivers on Tuesday.

Tuszka got his first NFL start last week with the Tennessee Titans. In the victory of his against the Las Vegas Raiders, he totaled two tackles. Tuszka is a 2020 Denver Broncos seventh-round pick and also played for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Guyton, in his fourth season with the Chargers, suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament during his team’s last possession last week. The Chargers ultimately went down 38-10 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. He caught two passes for 64 yards in the game, including a 54-yard catch in the third quarter.
