As indicated in a press release issued on Monday, Leduc will work as an expert and resource person for the marketing and communications department « for all activities to develop and promote soccer culture to club stakeholders. « . However, he will continue to work with the Academy during the transition.

In order to replace Leduc, who had been in charge since July 2020, the Academy will rely on Papageorgopoulos. The latter joined CF Montreal on June 23, 2021 as Director of External Program Development for the Academy. In 2016, the 48-year-old Montrealer was named director and associate head coach of the Vancouver Whitecaps Academy.
