Catfight at Rogers Center leaves woman seriously injured: report

There was both baseball and a base brawl at Rogers Center on Friday night.

As the Los Angeles Angels eliminated the Blue Jays in Game 1 of a homestand, a fight broke out between two women atop the stadium.

One woman pulled the other’s hair during the confrontation, and TMZ reported that the situation got much worse after that.

« The woman who was attacked was seriously injured and was rushed to hospital for a CT scan, according to her father, » TMZ reported. “Her father tells us that initially the doctors found no neurological damage, but they are looking at a second CT scan.

« Her dad tells us she was sitting with a friend in the stands when someone next to her got into an argument with the man wearing the red baseball cap in the video. The woman and her friend stood up to leave as things began to heat up between the two men.

TMZ said the father told them the other woman came out of nowhere and pulled the woman’s hair.

« Then she was punched in the face by the man in the cap. The fight then escalated into the tunnel where the man in the cap threw her against a wall, knocking her unconscious with blood pouring from his ears.

Toronto police told TMZ that « several fans got into an altercation which led to the assault of the woman by the man in the cap. »

They said the victim was allegedly involved in the fight.

The man and woman fled and are on the run.
