The dramatic video of a man rescuing a stranded cat after Hurricane Ian hit Florida has gone viral.

A tweet from Megan Cruz Scavo (@meganscavo) has been viewed more than 1.2 million times in six hours.

« My boyfriend saved a cat from floodwaters near Bonita Beach,” said his tweet, which had garnered 83,000 likes and around 11,000 retweets as of 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.
